With the long-rod motor assembled and cranked over by hand the piston's movement seemed minimal but in actuality it was increased because of the bigger stroke. The longer rod gave the engine a much smoother stroke compared to the short rod engine.


Our cylinder head is from BCE. It received a full Bill Craddock race port job.


Manley Titanium valves were installed. Both intake and exhaust valves came one millimeter over stock which took up a majority of the combustion chamber.



Crower titanium retainers and springs were installed to take on the high rpm and lift the valvetrain will receive throughout the testing process.
