Default T88H 34D vs PTE-74GTS

Thought I would post this over here. Originally posted by Jose at Forced Inductions.

Well we finally got to do some test comparsions on the same dyno of the Greddy T88 34D, using 3" exhaust with the regular 34D exhaust housing. Then we re-dynoed the car with the same T88 and swapped to the H-housing and 4" exhaust. Then we swapped on a PTE-74GTS without changing anything and still using the 4" exhaust. Boost was the same 2.1 bar, A/F was a dead flat 12.0, and all results are SAE.

The dyno results speak for themselves.

Green lines = T88-34D with 3" exhaust
Red Lines= T88H-34D with 4" exhaust
Blue lines= PTE-74GTS with 4" exhaust

We then took a comparable point and analyzed the numbers at 5250 on all 3 runs. The T88 with 3" exhaust was making 456rwhp. The T88 with the H housing and 4" exhaust at 5250 was making 516rwhp, and the PTE-74GTS with the same 4" exhaust was making 585rwhp. Also you can see how smooth the 74 was compared to the 88 all the way across. Its amazing that the 74GTS even though bigger really outspooled the 88. Now to see what it does at the track tomm. We will post the results.

BTW, the motor is a stock motor with 105K miles. The car is using 264/272 cams, Greddy 4 row, Greddy 4" DP, HKS TI 4" exhaust, and Titan intake.
