Well like I said.. Id pick the Lexus IS300... At least i think thats what i replied with??? Heres my view on the situation.. I havent been following this fight that well.. just kinda browsed over everything.
Ive driven the C32 and an M3. Both just awesome cars. But I doubt an M3 could go 170+... What reason? The drag coefficent is .32-.33. The corvette has 10 more horses and is .29 and goes 173mph. Not saying that you didnt see 170 plus on your speedo (to the M3 owner). I just dont see how your car can do it with my knowledge on physics. The C32 is .26-.27!! With its more power and better aerodynamics the M3 is toast on the highway. On a road course the M3s 50/50 weight distribution has the C32 beat. But the M3 doesnt hold a corner (not handle) much better than a Camaro SS. The M3 and the C32 are so freaking close in 0-60 and quarter times it would really have to depend on the driver. So when you say which is faster? I go with the Benz. Which is quicker. Id put my bet on the M3 but itd be damn close. Now C43 that Turbo C YA originally posted as being quicker than the M3 is right and wrong. The C43 trails by .3 seconds 0-60. Quarters are about the same. And has a faster top speed. Many sources put the M3 at 143mph and the C43 at 155mph. So he is right. It is technically faster. But it would proabably end up loosing more races unless they are on the highway.

Now im not a big fan of the Benzs so I dont know what your particular Benz is capable of.
I too am pretty new hear but from all my endless and undying knowledge and never ending wisdom.....Turbo C-YA is right.

But what is the final Verdict you ask???

The M3 C32 and C43 are all awesome cars...... but my Z28 will still spank them
