I really don't like these debates because its a no win situation for the newer car. People say "well a new cobra is 35K, if I spent that on a honda. . .ect. . .ect"
So. . .ok. . .does that mean we should all drive around pieces of crap so we won't spend anymore then the next guy? (I am not calling honda's a piece of crap, I mean any old beat up car. . .) Once you start comparing cars that are 10-20years old to brand new 2003-2004 cars, you can't take the price of the car into concideration.
Obviously it will take more money TOTAL to make the newer car go 10's then the old car. What you have to consider is cost that must go into the engine to make it go 10's. . .then compare that to the old car.
Now, if your on a tight budget, then yes. . you need to take the price of the car and engine mods into consideration.
