The Scroth Rallye 3 & 4 are both DOT approved and allowed at any SCCA Solo II event (autocross). They both incorporate a feature called the ASMŽ system, which reduces the risk of submarining. They fit very easily in the Subaru's.

If you are planning on participating in SCCA Solo I track events there may be additional safety requirements when using harnesses, I can't remember off the top of my head. If you are planning on participating in SCCA track events like Runoffs, Road Racing, World Challenge, the Rallye harnesses are not for you.
