yep, I went on the 20th with slicks and this time was sure to bring along the spacers...the reason I never bothered to really post up the results is for the reasons that are listed below
got to the track really early, put the slicks on...now the last time I went to T&T (beginning of the month) I was getting awesome 60 foot times launching like a bitch, great traction, no wheel spin whatsoever...but we forgot spacers and the tires were rubbing
so this time...go and run...it wasn't even prepped, I'm dead serious when I say that I lost traction ON SLICKS up to 80 mph...2.4 60 foots just spinning like mad...ON SLICKS, usually didn't gain traction til around middle of 3rd gear (about 75, little before, little after sometimes)...so best time was only a 13.8 at like...100 or something?? most runs on the slicks were low 14s...
decided to throw the street tires back on and say screw it, was in the low 14s...just the same as slicks
, and that was also spinning halfway down the track until 3rd gear...a car wrecked later that night and flipped over and took a good hour to clean up, and then the track was nice and sticky for all the slick-oriented cars...but at that point I was too damn lazy and annoyed to switch back over to slicks once again and then have to go back to streets....so i stayed on the streets and my best time on those ended up being like....14.3 at 101.6....getting 2.4 60 foots and just spinning...I raised the boost and messed around with some of the vacuum lines today and the car seems to be running stronger...so...oh well
nearly every car there, including corvettes, gts, z28s, ws6s, etc...were all getting low 14s at only about 98 or 99...so on a very shitty night...the car was running good compared to those I guess
...if I were to take an educated guess I think the car could've been a 13.2 at 104...and that's with a 350lb system in the back and a burnt out clutch (already ordered a spec stage 3i, should be here soon
)
oh well...shit happens, would you mind pming me and telling me what you run, I've always wondered
Was this the yellow car I ran?
