This is just up my alley. I have about a 2" drop with my JIC coilovers.It sounds like you wanna save money . Go with the Tein Hi-Tech Spings for the IS300. I have several friends with them. They run about 150-180 . Will give you about a 1.75" drop once settled . These Tein springs will have your car riding SMOOTH, as myself and a couple others could barely tell diff from stock as far as ride quality goes. They are the best bang for the buck. Tein also makes a great reliable spring.
