Just got a jl audio 13w7 sub and 1000/1 amp for graduation.

I have never had a system before and was wondering if you could post some info about other stuff I may need and problems I may run into with this equipment. I know a little bit but after reading some of these threads I wouldn't try to talk crap in here, help if you can. I don't feel like going to a dealer and getting shafted.

My car is a 2003 Si if that helps and pure stock.
