they go very well together, but he will be testen his stock botton end ,with tuning with high compresstion it takes alot less timing and more fule, if i was you i would get a msd that takes timeing out when you hit the n20 so you dont lose any na power, i would use stock plugs ,i would also built the head the stock ls heads are weak and if you drop a vavle you will be buying a new motor,i ran 10.5-1 compresstion with a 225 shot on my gsr
