The "working for 20 secs, then blowing hot" thing sounds exactly like the dual pressure switch. When you turn the AC on, the pressure fluctuates for the first few minutes. If the pressure at the sensor gets too high or low, it cuts the compressor. Check your freon levels again. If you wanted to rig it, you could just bypass the sensor (either unplug or short it).

There's also a thermo switch on the compressor that could cut out. If you've got oil in it, that shouldn't be the problem.
dude, after diagnosing and referring to your threads alot... i am like almost positive its the dual rpessure switch... how exactly do i go about fixing this??

its strange because a\c was fine back when i had the ka in... idk what would have really cause it to go bad..
