They showed that trick on one of those "Magic secrets revealed" shows. It was definitely a let down. Yes he can make it look like he comes about an inch of the ground by standing at the correct angle, but the scenes where it appears he is a foot or more above are nothing mroe than camera tricks and adding in the audience reaction later.
