okay.. so i just got my 89 ford tempo gl at an auction last month.. and we towed it to the shop.. we told them to fix the major damages first before minors.. so they fixed the brakes for $100 and now they tell us that we need to fix the transmission for another $500.. wtf.. so i think i should tow the car to my house to fix the transmission.. the question is.. do you think that it is worth it? or will the shop do it for alot cheaper?? if anyone is good at fixing transmission tell me plz! thanks.
