odds are in all those 90k miles the tranny fluid hasnt been changed.... I reccomend you drain it out, flush a couple quarts of cheap 10w30 motor oil through to clean it out, then fill with the proper amount of Honda transmission fluid....

And dont get a short shifter... They are known for destroying transmissions for some reason... I cant accurately explain how, but if you dont trust me, Im sure someone else can explain....
