Actually $99 is a good deal. I looked at it this way Spend the $99 now and in 5 years if I still like autocrossing Ill buy me one of those BADASS helmets but if i still am racing in 5 years I better be good!
Have you ever seen the loaner helmets? NASTY!
Is it worth it? 1 time Autocrossing and you will know.
