Definitely not anything new. They've been giving out these tickets for 10+ years.. I doubt there is any "crackdown"..
Well I always read about people trying to be against it but not the cops accually doing anything about it. I ALWAYS play my system and I never gotten a ticket for it. So around here cops jus say if they can hear it u get a ticket? Thats some bullshit.
