The 1/4 is certainly where its at but I too go to Sunshine to practice my launches. Realistically though with the automatic anything after the 1/8 is just keeping the car straight.
I would say that a good running time for street cars is in the 8s. I am in the high 7s (7.
but can easily goof up the launch and come out too hard and end up in the 8s or even worse. Being in the 8s will win you most if not all races against other street cars. I still prefer the 1/4 but for practice and location you cant beat Sunshine.
