I have heard and have had both engines..... when I was asking your same questions.. everyone pointed my in the direction of the h23a, because it suppose to be a stronger engine... so now I have a 98 lude SH... with a h23a engine.. and i use to have a 93 lude with a h22a.... i feel a slight difference in the engine... or maybe i jus believe that cuz thas wha everyone else says.... but i think with either engine you choose you will be happy with the results. there a prelude site you can search for... the members there might be able to help you more..
