do you have a camber kit on your car?..if you do was the clunking sound before or after the install?..it could be a control arm hiting, if thats what kind of clunking your talkng about, i dont know all that much about suspension but i know of someone that had a problem sorta like yours.

check under the fender and see if there is any knicks or anything on it or the arm.
