well the overheating part when you are idle is because the radiator is what keeps yoru engine cool. When you are driving your radiator is keeping cool by the air hitting it but when you are idle the water in the radiator is stayin the same temp or even rising. I wouldnt worry about it unless you are in a lot of standstill traffic.
