Yes, you can make more power with a 7.3 right now but it requires a great deal more money invested into it. For less then 4K you can get into the 12's or 13's depending on the rig you drive. My only worry about the 7.3 is the cavatation problem. The new torque shift is not bad but suncoast need to get you boys something to work with so there aren't the shitty shifts in the 5 speed.
