I think that what they are saying is go for it if you have the cash ( about $8,000 for a reliable motor and a good install ). If you want something unique under the hood of your 240 you are going to pay for it. you can twin turbocharge an sr20 I have seen one before. BUT, if you dont care about weight and want twin turbo 6 cyl, go buy a 300zx tt. At least parts for that motor are easy to find. There are other options as well. I dont know if you have heard of the SR20VE, its a variable valve lift sr20 which produces 192-196 horsepower, now I have been told that Nissan has released a car now with a factory SR20VE-T which produces 280 horsepower. I know nothing about the VE-T other than the fact that they are brand new and you can buy them only brand new for about $5,000 dollars. Comes with an ECU? dunno. Bolts in just like the SR20DE-T? no clue at all. But you said you want to be unique, im just trying to find a way to be unique for a lesser price and lesser dissapointment. Yes skylines are cool and all, but in all honesty your car was built for an sr20se-t, respect it and give it the motor it should have come with!
