Honestly with the way this went down I really hope the buyer got what he was supposed to.... and that it's legal.
Clint (Bike forum moderator and roomate)and I were on our way to pick it up after talking to john several times that day. First I called him early AM and he said if you really want it I'll hold it for you I said that I wanted it and I would be there after work.... then I call to tell him I'll be there at 6 just to confirm the time and he tells me I have someone coming to look at it at noon, but if I gave him a deposit he would consider it sold (checkbook at home). Then it was the guy looking at it wants it.... WTF ok fine....
Then 5 minutes later I get a call that they don't want to pick it up yet because I don't have the title here, and him telling me I could come pick it up after work if I still wanted it. I assured him again that I wanted to come get it after work and clint would ride it home. Then I get a call from him at 6 as I am 1 block from his apartment complex saying he sold it at 5 after he knew I was on my way to pick it up after work.
I hate dealing with inconsiderate assholes.
