In '87 you could by a 5.0 coupe for under 10k and go 13's, but everybody talks shit about those cars, probably more now than they did then.
As far as the looks, knock yourself out if that's what you like, but being that you already have a picture of one that way, do you think maybe you could score a couple of originality points and do your own thing?
