ok so I saw speedvision show highlighting a lexus that looked like it had the aerodynamics of a brick and was as big as a house however had an aerodynamic coefficent of .3 which is damn low thats what most sports cars are. They attributed this due to the fact that the bottom of the car was covered with a sheet of plastic (or similar material). Ive seen cars built for top speed and long races with the undercariage having large flat pieces of material for the undercoating of the car but damn I didnt know it helped out that much. Anybody seen one on a honda any web sights? I might try to build a couple pieces for shits and giggles plastic is cheap right? Just dont know what to do about the exhaust. I can see it already my ghetto rigged undercarriage falling off my car at 100mph on the interstate........that wont sound to good. Seriously though if you know of any web sites with more info on undercarriage aerodynamics or even pictures of undercariages its appreciated. Thanks.
