Its X pipe or H pipe. What kinad motor do you have anyway?
Y pipe is what stock v6s have. Stock v8s have an h pipe. You can convert a v6 over to x or h if you wanted too. Both x or h work well. Its more or less personal preference there is much difference in power, its more of a sound thing. But H pipes are supposed to make more power downlow and x make more up top. I have a Mac prochamber pipe and I love it. Its similiar to an x pipe in principal.
And as far as cold air intakes are, I dont like any of the metal ones. My vote is always densecharger or moroso.
