HOWEVER, if you were to mic the pistons, you would see what Im refering too. I bought some, and they bounced around inside the cylinders. Most shops wont recommend them, because of said reason.
I did use a micrometer on my SRP pistons and they were all within spec. The micrometer I used is accurate to .001. Never heard of them "bouncing" around in the cylinders. Most shops won't recommend them, because most shops want to make the most MONEY. SRP = shelf pistons = cheaper = less profit for shops. I was recommended them by a friend who uses SRP/Eagle rod combo in his 700whp LS1.
