There are tons of things to do but you gotta trouble shoot it a bit.

Check the gas cap like previously suggested.

You may have gotten bad gas. When you filled up at the station was the tanker truck there unloading gas for the station? Never buy gas at a station when the tanker truck is unloading. The new gas getting pumped into the station tanks stir up any sediment that may be in the station tanks and then it gets into your finely tuned engine and causes problems.

Check your sparkplugs. They will tell you allot. Might be time to change them as well.

Get new sparkplugwires.

Replace Fuel Filter.

To get rid of the Check Engine Light - Disconnect your negative battery terminal for 30 seconds then re-connect. This will reset the ECU to Factory settings. See how it runs then and if the CEL comes back on.

Generally speaking, when the CEL comes on it's time to take it to a dealership.
