I would spend the whole time visiting all the old gangster spots. Aren't the houses now museums and stuff? Check out all of Capone's hideouts, etc. But that's just me. 
Cool idea and im sure they have tours just be careful alot of those place are now in not so nice neighborhoods. It is weird getting pulled over for being white.
