So it cranks but doesn't start eh? If its TBI you may have leaky injectors and in order to get it to start, floor the gas pedal when you turn the key. This put the engine into "clear flood" mode and it should start if thats the problem. Let me know what kind of fuel system you have(carb, throttle body injection, or port injection) and I'll give you a better answer.
