Witnessed .. Not participated

Thursday, April 8, 40th and Hillsborough Ave after the 40th street light going toward 50th at 7:20 p.m. (daylight people)

3 cars line up as the 40th street light is red. The participants:

a dropped tan accord early 90's model
a white laser
a white 4 door civic late 80's style

a red turbo 5th gen civic hatch pulls behind and sets off his horn to start the race.

watching from my mirror i see the laser take the lead, the accord hanging close by. then i coudln't see.

we pull up but don't make the light. i look to my left and there is a cop by the check cashing place (still 40th/Hillsborough). Dayum he didn't catch any of that?

I look back into my mirror and there they are again lining up! I'm like uh, fellas there is a cop right there.

None of them saw each other. I was rollin, pointing at the cop like you idiot!

light turned green and from a glimpse the accord was getting the laser.

those morons have watched fast n furious too many times to be pulling this ish right out in the middle of a major public street during the daytime!

too funny and major stupid! of course my gurl rachel who was visiting me from chicago didn't get any of it and thought it was all just stupid stuff that i should be above. she just doesn't get the entertainment value of it.
