I want to remove another wiper motor to save more weight in my CRX, so I'd like to do a single-wiper conversion. My problem is that I want to have the single wiper sweep the whole (or at least most) of the windshield.

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the sweep using the stock wiper motors, or should I transplant a motor from a 80's GM (Buick Centurys and Chevy Cav's have about a 120* sweep).

Also, it's not as critical, but I'd also like the resting position of the wiper to be straight up and down like on the BTCC and other cup cars rather than all hanging off to the side.
