z32 clutch question????
i am having problems with my clutch in my z32.. First off I have to adjust the clutch almost every day.. when i adjust it(adjusting the bolt right behind the clutch pedal) i adjust it all the way out so i have to push the clutch all the way to the floor and barely lift it to get it to grab.. BUT if i dont do the daily adjustment to the pedal.. the possition moves from all the way from the floor to i just barely have to push the pedal in to get the clutch to disengage, and i only have to move it about 1-2 inches and the rest of the movement of the pedal is play(all the way to the floor)also the pedal is extremely difficult to push in AND it will engage to shift gears BUT it wont disengage all the way(it is like it just wont let go) burning it up if i dont adjust it, BUT when i place the clutch to the floor I hear a metal on metal sound.. this is one of the main reasons that i adjust it out(there is no sound when i adjust it to the floor).
I just have NO idea on how to fix or correct this problem.. I have replaced the SLAVE CYL. THE CLUTCH MSTR. CYL. the clutch fork(with extension welded on by my mechanic and a larger hole made for it in the BELL HOUSING).. i think that it might be the lines they might need to be replaced and a new clutch is a definent.. i replaced the clutch not more than a year ago and i purchased a clutch from EXEDY/DAIKKIN (OEM SPEC.) nothing special.. but i have had nothing but problems with my clutch and i am currently looking for a new mechanic (NOT A SHADE TREE MECHANIC) that tries to ell me what to do.
any way if anyone was had any similar troubles with their clutch i could really use your input.. or even better a solution to my problem thanks for the info..
