a 6 bolt 4g63...as joe said...needs nothing to rev to 9k...and has historically made the most power...reliably.
honestly chet, its a trade off, the SR can't be revved high without modifying the valvetrain, but the 4G does need the balance shaft issue addressed...9k is also a stretch, springs/retainer at LEAST, however as long as you have 99 lifters, the stock rocker arms are fine....oh ya, 4G63's sound better too
