Mazsport has fucked up many cars that I know of, and he ripps you off. Or he ripped me off, and 2 of my friends.
Ask Yanni about Scoot and what he did to him..Just stay away.
I would use the Motorcraft 5-20 just as they recommend, just make sure its dino oil and not synthetic. The reason I say use the weight recommended is the factoory designs the engine with enough clearance for that specific weight of oil, if you went to 30 weight, it would not fit in betweeen the bearings and cause unnessary wear all the time. This is called a Plastiguage.and allows for oil clearance on bearings etc
always remember a lite weight oil lubricates better than heavy weights, beccuase more oil is able to go over the surfaces @ a much dfaster speed and thus taking out the heat which leads top friction and oil break down.
I change the oil in my RX7 every 800 miles, It is almost the same color as went in, and I have over 300,000 on the engine and it doesn't smoke or anything. and it currentylty runs 14.2 on street tires and is the fastest S4 N/A RX7 in the entire bay area.
