Is your timing messed up?

Back in the EJ22T days, Subaru liked to hook the motor to the Auto trans because it masked the jagged power curve.

I haven't had much messing around time with te EJ20 but you certianly shouldn't be losing power after 4k unless you running out of time or super lean or something. Does the power pick back up after 4k?
