3d gens are great cars, beautifully designed and fun to drive. The road to better reliability has been forged by those that have learned the hard way.

The turbo's are very complicated as well.

The cooling system is a weak link. It should be upgraded. By performing these mod's you can lengthen the life of a 13b-rew substantially, but it is still a boosted rotary engine, and likely will need to be rebuilt around 100k no matter what precautions you take.
