If modifying the bottom end isn't an option, you could get a Spoon/Mugen head gasket and raise the compression that way.

ok well you are missing all the important stuff in this "list" of yours... if you bore the block to 84.5mm with out sleeving it i would piss on it and it would crack... so that is a no go... and you posted bore the block twice... "have the block bored,
run 84.5mm high compression pistons" also you didnt tell him what compression to run, remeber this guys is asking for help cause he doesnt know how to do anything further than what he already has... and to have a port job do anything for him he would have to be running some kind of forced induction or some CRAZY N/A setup (ie. 11:1 compression and some sick cams, for example)... also, dyno time will do nothing for you, but some tunning would...
