....... could add more but whats the point.

The only things that I can think of that the d-series has going for it is they are cheap and they have a five cap main girdle. I seriously can't think of anything else. I've seen people try to build all motor d-series stuff and they never get the power that a stock gsr puts out yet the motor is stressed to hell.
