Had a little fun with a Black Formula LS1 on 275 today on my way to work. I saw him as I was approaching and thought it was an LS1 then saw his license plate which had a reference to LS1 in it. Got next to him and popped the throttle a couple of times and he took off. I waited for traffic to clear and we both went from about a 60 mph roll, just at the top of 3rd for me. He was an A4 and I waited to hear him downshift when he did I hit it. He got out about 1 car on the hit and I started reeling him in. When I shifted into 4th my car hiccuped and scared the shit out of me. I looked down and realized I left the traction control on and when I powershifted 4th gear the tires broke free for a second making it come on. I let out and waited for him to come back and asked for one more run, he obliged. He counted down with his fingers and was about 1/2 a car ahead on the start and I let him have the hit. He got out about a car and it was even until I shifted into 4th and I started pulling. I put about 1-2 cars on him and shut it down because of traffic. Gave him a thumbs up and got off at my exit. Seemed like a nice enough guy. Just wanted to say good runs and maybe we can go from a stop sometime. The car sounded to have at least a cat-back but not sure what else it could have had done.
