Are there any Ford techs in the house? If not, maybe someone will know the answer, anyway. Here we go:

I've taken a job as a "behind the wheel" driving instructor, teaching folks how to drive. (don't laugh, it's true!) We've got one of those "driver's ed" cars with the dual brake. It's a rather entertaining job. (I've done worse for less money!)

Anyway, unlike every other driving instructor I've talked to, I actually like to take my students out and teach them about ABS and show them how it works. As I'm sure you know, most people out there don't have a clue, and it's something that could save their life... or at least their car.

Now the question:

The car is a 2003 Taurus SES. It has ABS. I would like to use this car to also demonstrate how to properly make a non-ABS emergency stop. Before I go just blindly pulling the fuse marked ABS (assuming there is one), I'd like to know if this is going to set any kind of annoying code in the OBD system or have any other permanent side-effects. I would just be disabling it for 10-15 minutes in a controlled environment, and then hooking it back up.
