As long as you sleeve the beams and pillars and have good welds, it is relatively safe. If you get hit hard enough from the side to split the car, chances are you are getting hit hard enough to smash a 240 enough to hurt somebody anyway. If the buyer is concerned about structural rigidity, we will 6 point cage it. But i am not arguing the fact that if a car is clipped and the work is shotty, yes it can be very dangerous.
