thanks. i already read that article, and a few others. i decided to gradually increase the revs every ride (using heat cycles) and use short bursts of acceleration. i figure this way it'll help solve the problem of metal expansion and contraction due to heat (mainly the pistons in the cylinder), and the short bursts of acceleration to seat the rings.
