Air cant travel that far?? Sorry man but I gotta remind you about atmospheric pressure. There is no vaccum inside the FMIS so therefore the pressure of the air (atmospheric pressure) causes the entire tubing to be filled. There are no spots where air is not present. What the tubing length does do though is cause the air to travel a greater distance to arrive at the intake manifold which isnt exactly wonderful for top-end.
