Consider this: do they make the engines smaller: because of lack of engineering? or because: in JAPAN they have stricter POLLUTION LAWS.... smaller streets, and streets with more turns that straight aways? So therefore you get a smaller car with, higher MPG, performance based, designed for longivity, and style. It makes perfect sense... The engineering is top notch... and it lasts forever... you can put 200k on nearly any import.....most mustangs more than 10 years old (more than 80k) need to be put out to pasture....that goes for many US cars.
Japan makes very good cars... that keep up with nearly any US car... boosted, sprayed, blown, whatever.... and with fewer cylinders....just admit that you have issues with Japan not the cars... youre a racist... not a critic
