I beg to differ. I went with a alum flywheel for a few reasons.

Less stress on the tranny. When you hit the tires hard(using slicks) There isn't as much enertia(sp?) to break parts. A few guys on corral have n/a cobras running alum flywheels and they didn't seem to lose any et in the 60ft. Just have to raise rpms alittle.

Once the car is moving yes the rpms will rev quicker.

Weight reduction.

Since you have a blower you don't have to worry about torque. IMO I say get the aluminum. -Mark
