The only real benifit of this would be its use to flatten out the curves but adjusting your vtec activation point. Dont think you throw it at 2k vtec and its gonna drop a second. I use mine to turn the vtec from the ECUs point of 5700 to 5300. Not sure hoe much benifit you would see on a SOHC. What about a test pipe for you cat? Its somewhat illegal (if you get caught) but for like 15 bucks its well worth it. Also try taking your power streeting belt off and you should hit it as well.
