The event on the 7th is a regular S.C.C.A. Central Florida Region event. The points apply only to the C.F.R. West coast series. In January we had a four run day. We should get four, and maybe more, this time. The course will be in the 50 to 65(+) sec. range depending on the car & driver. It should be a good time. I always suck at G.I.R., but the place is fun to drive at and I'll always give it priority over any other site except Buckingham Field. It's nice to have the course boundaries dictated by grass, for a change. It makes for a much easier course to follow, regardless of the actual elements.

There WILL be a divisional at G.I.R. in June. The Divisional will be the second in a three event series. The idea is that the best drivers in the S.C.C.A. SouthEastern Region run the series as preparation for the National Championships. The three Divisionals all are points events and series champs. are crowned... The June event will run like a National Tour event where your best Saturday run and best Sunday run are compiled, positions being determined by the best two-day time. Likely there will be only three runs on each day. Someone who actually has done the Divisional series, please feel free to elaborate.
