if you were hitting the 50shot from off the line you were putting more strain on the motor than hitting the 175 at 5k

there are also alot of safety things i like to have on my car aswell, such as a oil pressure safety switch, and a fuel pressure safety switch, afpr, and wideband o2. id rather spend 500 in knowing it probably wont blow, instead of spending another 500 to rebuild and 500 more to buy all this stuff the second time around.
