Serious rain and puddles took out my MAF once. Puddle hits almost took out the engine - it was huffing and puffing a lot of white smoke but managed to get on the highway.

On the highway, I sucked up enough rain to kill the MAF and was stranded for the night. Garage Battle saw me and tried to help but there was nothing we could do.

Unless you want to live through this, consider the bypass valve.
