My friend has a 1970 camaro that hes restoring. The only thing its got so far is a brand new 350 crate motor and a paint job. The interior is crappy, its got 2 bucket seats and pretty much nothing in the middle...

so he asked me if id help him make a console. He wants his 3 sunpro (discount auto parts) water temp, battery, and oil pressure gauges, his cb radio, a little storage, and whatever else to go in it. He orig said i could do it carpetted but i think thatd look crappy as a console. I know 93ex has experience with this...i just need the basics...where to start, what products are good, layers, etc. Ive never done any work like this, so talk to me like im a complete newb please.
